HOLLYWOOD, CA - Katy Perry will not be appearing in the Season Premiere of PBS's Sesame Street. The video was pulled after parents complained of too much cleavage being shown by Ms. Perry.
After pulling the segment, it was discovered that Elmo had secretly upskirted Katy with his cell-phone during the taping and uploaded the video to YouToob.
After the discovery, Sesame Workshop released this statement:
"Sesame Street has a long history of working with celebrities across all genres, including athletes, actors, musicians and artists. Sesame Street has always been written on two levels, for the child and adult. Elmo was only trying to appeal to a demographic that has alluded us in the past. In light of the feedback we've received on the Katy Perry upskirt video which was released on YouToob only, we have decided we will not air the segment on the television broadcast of Sesame Street, which is aimed at preschoolers, but our adult Sesame Street fans will still be able to view the upskirt video on YouToob."
