The press (Paparazzi) had a field day

With the increase in the number of mobile (cell) phones across the world, there has been a corresponding drop in the number of phone booths (call boxes). This has forced Superman to become more inventive in his choice of places to get changed.

Initially, the Man of Steel would dash into a lift (elevator), get changed in nano-seconds (a New York second), and then wait an eternity for it to reach the next floor in order for him to get out. Due to the delay in getting ready, the Superhero's Superhero's next choice was the gents (men's toilets). However, he has been forced to abandon this location also, after he kept running into George Michael (one half of Wham!).

With revolving doors being replaced with automatic (magic-eye) doors at an alarming rate, Clark Kent turned to the last available location for his rapid change: the Photo-Me booth (don't know the American for this).

With every public place having a Photo-Me booth and a Coin-Star machine, it was ideal for a while. However, this has inadvertently lead to Superman's Alter-Ego being identified when one of the machines fired off a series of pictures as he was changing. Showing him as Clark Kent, Clark Kent with his shirt open and specs (glasses) off, Superman struggling with his braces (suspenders), and finally Superman.

While the Red Blue Blur was foiling a terrible (heinous) bank robbery (heist), a small child (infant) found the full colour (color) pictures and gave them to his mummy (mommy). She took them to the papers, and the tabloids have run with revealing his identity, despite an injunction.

He also lost his job at the Daily Planet.

And this is why we don't see Superman any more.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
