Superman was banned from running in the London Marathon, today after complaints from the elite athletes, in the race that it would be unfair as they would have no chance of beating a superhero, unless he wore Kryptonite, running shoes.

Superman turned up at the start with his traditional Red & Blue costume but officials told him he was banned from running in the race because his superpowers gave him an unfair advantage over earthlings.

Although disappointed Superman decided to fly above the runners in the race and follow them round the course from start to finish.

Race organisers reckon that Superman, should find something else to do with his super powers, like blow away the Cloud of Volcanic Ash,that has been coming over Europe, from the Volcano Eruption in Iceland.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
