REYKJAVIK, Iceland - Selfoss Garpsdalur, the director of the Icelandic Music Charts has just informed Amy Winehouse that her song "Ya Seen Me Muffin?" has just climbed into the number one position overtaking Tila Tequila's song "Get Me Off."
Tequila's song was recently named by the highly reputable music magazine Pitchy Bitchy Magazine as The Most Vulgar Song In the History of Recorded Music.
Amy Winehouse's current song "Ya Seen Me Muffin?" was ranked number two in the same category. Amy co-wrote the song with Kara DioGuardi, who along with Ellen DeGeneres was recently fired as judge on the reality show, American Idol.
When Winehouse learned that her song had gotten beat out by Tila's song she heaved a disappointed sigh and remarked that she wishes her and Kara had put in a few more "F" words, "C" words, and "P" words.
Mr. Garpsdalur noted that Miss Winehouse will be honored at a special luncheon to be held in Reykjavik's exclusive Hotel Polar Bear Hair on September 4, 2010.
He stated that at that time Miss Winehouse will be presented with the key to the city, a gold plated Shure Microphone, a check for $800, and a $2,000 gift certificate to Reykjavik's most popular dental facility The House of Dental Delight.
In a related story. Amy Winehouse wants to dispel the vicious rumor that she has fallen off the wagon and has been staying out drinking every day until 3 and 4 in the morning. She says that in the interest of accuracy it is usually 1 or 2 in the morning.
