Kara DioGuardi was praying for a reason to get back in touch with her favorite American Idol, Casey James, after he was booted from the show. Her prayers were answered. DioGuardi was recently told that her contract wouldn't be renewed and she'd no longer be an Idol judge. That was enough to send her packing and seeking out the only man who would understand her anger and her sadness-Casey James.
"I don't care what anyone says," said DioGuardi, resting her head ever so slightly on Casey James strong, masculine, yet boyishly bare shoulder. "I know Casey understands the hurt and the heartache I've felt. Even my own husband can't understand what I'm going through. I had to find Casey, I had to be with the one who knew me the best when it comes to matters of what I've gone through with Idol."
Casey James never said a word and in fact, seemed a bit confused as he tried to pull away from the death grip DioGuardi had around his waist. He just gave a strange, "get this nutty woman offa me now" look.
As DioGuardi made plans to follow the American Idol summer tour to be close to James, James himself is said to have contacted his attorney to find out if he's still under contract with American Idol, especially the part where he can't have contact with any of the judges. He is praying the answer is yes. Meanwhile, DioGuardi's husband has issued this statement "Kara, stop acting like a smitten schoolgirl and get your ass home now!"
