Mancunian psychic-health care worker Daphne Moon went on national TV and broke the shocking news:
"I'm 'avin Dr. Crane's baby".
Delighted reporters yelled "Cheers", congratulating a skulking Dr.Niles Crane only to discover they had the wrong Dr. Crane.
It is common knowledge that - the other Dr. Crane - i.e. younger sib Niles, has quietly nursed his secret love for Daphne while waiting for an amicable divorce from his non-existent sliver of a wife - Maris.
So one can imagine how infuriated Niles became when he discovered that big bro had beaten him to the punch. Niles is believed to have challenged Frasier to a jolly good round of fisticuffs in a duel of the Brothers Cranemazov.
Meanwhile Frasier Crane - who has fallen madly in love with Daphne - is over the moon (pun intended)! Niles Crane is in a snit and Martin Crane says he's caught between a rock and a hard place in his recliner.
Health-care worker Daphne - known for her 'psychic premonitions' said: "I certainly didn't see this coomin'".
