Ron Paul and Rand Paul, the father/son Libertarians who are doing everything they can to take this county in a totally different direction, are having a hard time convincing people of their sincerity with performers like RuPaul still on the scene. They claim that everywhere they go, people ask them if they are any relation to RuPaul even though, they say, there is hardly a resemblance.
Rand Paul says he is asked on almost a daily basis if he dresses in drag like his half-brother, to which he replies, "what?" Ron Paul is equally perplexed with the number 1 question he gets asked about the matter, i.e. "Who is RuPaul's mother?" and the runner-up question, "What is Thanksgiving like at the Paul household?"
Rand Paul has had enough and with the help of his father, he has asked attorneys to file some type of action which would require RuPaul to change his stage name to something that doesn't contain the name Paul.
Meanwhile RuPaul is said to be exploring his own legal options in the matter claiming that the seriously political rants of his father and half-brother have put a damper on his acting career. Says Paul (Ru), "I don't know what they is on about this time. They is always trying to say I ain't family. Lawdy be, I jes don't know what to do with them two jokers."
