Twilight star, 24-year-old Robert Pattinson was the victim once more of the paparazzi as he tried to back his car out of a friend's house Saturday night and spotted two cars that he knew were paparazzi. He had been chased down once again, so he hit the gas and backed into another car coming from a different direction.
Although early reports say that Pattinson and the driver of the other car, an older model, or "piece of junk" according to the owner, both were checked out and thought they were OK, with Pattinson telling traffic cops that it was his fault.
However, Monday morning Pattinson was complaining about a stiff neck and went back to see if he needed a brace for awhile.
"That really wasn't Pattinson's fault", stated 50-year-old John Matthews, driver of the other car. "He was trying to dodge those idiots down the other way."
Latest reports are that Pattinson is only very sore but sometimes those hard hits can come back to haunt you later, according to a specialist we consulted.
Pattinson reportedly asked for repair bills for both vehicles and sent a package of movie tickets to Matthews.
"Should have known that if I got hurt, it would be the neck that gets it", Pattison joked with hospital staff, aids, volunteers, other patients and their families who had came by to take a peek.
