After a press release that Cheryl Cole's recent collapse was from a case of Malaria, no one is saying much. In fact, the latest report is that it is THOUGHT to be Malaria!
The 27-year-old X Factor judge and Girls Aloud star was admitted to hospital after reports that she had fainted during a photo shoot over the past weekend.
But a Source has told us that it could be even more serious than Malaria.
"I'm afraid, after seeing her, that it's the West Nile Virus instead", stated the Source. "She's not acting right and she's fighting a fever. That disease comes on people suddenly and causes your brain to swell."
Both of the diseases are caused by a mosquito bite.
On Monday, it was confirmed Cole had canceled all of her work commitments this entire week and now next week is said to be uncertain, on the advice of doctors. Cole recently returned from a break in Tanzania, on the east coast of Africa, with friend and dancer Derek Hough.
We spoke with other doctors and their description of the West Vile Virus sounded pretty close to what has been described by Cheryl's friends.
