Taylor Lautner, starring in the new John Carpenter movie "Legend Werewolf" says that this movie is definitely no "I Was A Teenage Werewolf".
"That old film starring Michael Landon gave werewolf movies a bad name for a long time", stated teen actor, Taylor Lautner. "Plus it had to be the writers, etc because Landon went on to star on three long-running TV series." (Ed: Bonanza, Little House On The Prairie & Highway To Heaven).
The new werewolf flick sounds great and looks it from the small segment we have been able to see.
"Carpenter did both those early 'Halloween' movies and they were great but without him, the others weren't much", Lautner told reporters.
"I am definitely not a good or misunderstood werewolf in this one. I am an animal. It begins with the Navajo Indian legends about the dog-man-wolf and is filmed out near the Four Corners area which is great."
Lautner then stated that there is a good guy stalking the Indian Legend of the Wolf Man but who knows if the good guy wins in this match-up. He stated that you would have to see the movie.
"This is a different type horror movie. Other people do not become werewolves if bitten. It's the Navajo werewolf and it's much scarier because of the setting and the special effects."
Lautner concluded that this is more a "Fargo" type than the usual horror campsite or city.
"It was filmed on location or rather, it's still being filmed. All my scenes are completed unless they change one. Being in that awesome breath-taking area of the country will really add to the action."
