Mark Lowton, Chief Executive Administrator of popular online satire magazine TheSpoof.com has finally admitted that despite his best efforts, the much loved website has come under insidious attack from a malicious troll.
Defining a 'troll' as a malicious and disruptive element, Lowton told us that he'd done everything in his power to prevent this troll from infiltrating the website, but that sadly, with great regret he has finally admitted defeat.
The troll, otherwise known as Conservative Party leader David 'Do Nothing Dave' Cameron was last seen crowing from the rooftops of Westminster that he had succeeded where so many before him had failed.
The Spoof, which hitherto had an unblemished record for eradicating trolls had absolutely no defence against Cameron's malicious intrusion.
One writer for the Spoof told us:
"It's just not fair. I spend hours formulating, writing, and fine tuning a classic piece of hundred word satire about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart appearing in Rab C Nesbitt on BBC2 and Cameron's big face pops up right in the middle of my masterpiece. It's gotten so bad that I'm seriously considering going back to working for the Glasgow Herald and paying the political levy out of my union subscriptions to the Labour Party. That David Cameron fellow has ruined my life right enough."
A sad day indeed.
More as we get it.
