John and Toni Terry arrived back in the UK yesterday from their Dubai sojourn, pretending to keep a low profile, but happily, if somewhat awkwardly posing for paparrazi like any normal married couple.
To all outward appearances it would appear that the Vanessa Perroncel affair has been forgiven and forgotten, although seasoned observers doubt the veracity of that viewpoint and confidently expect the shit to hit the fan again anytime soon.
Things weren't exactly helped along by the revelation that the couple have snubbed the 2010 Brit Awards in favour of a quiet night in watching a DVD - reportedly 'The Cook, The Thief, His Wife, And Her Lover' followed by 'The French Lieutenant's Lingerie Woman'.
Roly-poly Bolton funnyman Peter Kay, who will host the Award show told us:
"It's a bit of a smack in the face like, the Terry's not coming. And if anybody else calls me a roly-poly Bolton funnyman I'll punch his frigging lights out."
Toni Terry refused to comment as to why the Terry's had snubbed the Brit Awards but husband John was more forthcoming:
"We weren't invited," he told us. "We're not really musical people anyway."
Ashley Cole won't be attending the Awards show either, on account of having a broken ankle, but he did promise to text wife Cheryl a picture of himself in his underpants as soon as she comes off the stage.
More as we get it.
