It is rumored that Paula had actually requested her dance partner to be her old "idol" judge mate, Simon Cowell, but Cowell is not much of a dancer and had to decline the generous offer from the producers.
Paula and Simon seemed to be a perfect pair on the "Idol" but then the producers of shows don't always know what the public likes best.
Travolta has been getting out his dancing shoes and putting the spit and polish to them it is said. He has been twirling around his massive estate humming one of Paula's favorite tunes.
