London - (Rotters): Cheryl Cole is top of the list of singers dumped by the Grit Awards (an annual pop music awards ceremony) who won't appearing in next month's 30th anniversary show.
Organisers said the over-exposed X-Fucter judge had become a liabilitiy through her sycophantic relationship with Simon Cowell and other TV wannabes.
"Plus her over-ambitious dentistry is frightening the under-10s," a committee source added, "kinda makes her look like a downmarket Catherine Zeta Jones."
Also not appearing at the February 16 event are Robbie Williams, Lady GaGa, Amy Whinehouse, Kasabian, Peter Docherty, JLS, Dizzee Rascal and Florence And The Machine.
"Actually Cheryl's greed is behind the reason to dump her," celebwatch website LA FagHagSlahMag commented.
"Asking $2 million for the evening's work is just that teensy bit too optimistic.
"Who does she think she is anyway, Paris bleedin Hilton?"
