Recent purchaser of a big screen TV from Comet, Spoof writer Skoob, exclusively revealed to us today that he wasn't totally convinced that the purchase was altogether wise.
"It hurts me neck when I look up at it," he told us.
Wide screen high defenition TV's have been lauded as a breakthrough in the home entertainment field, but Skoob told us:
"I've been up nearly all night - actually, looking at the clock - ALL night almost, watching the bastard thing. First off there was some bird who had two blokes strapped into chairs and she smashed one guy's knee up with a hammer. Then there was a film about a Jumbo Jet in an emergency landing, then Carry On Columbus and now a Disney cartoon. It's spooky. It's like you've got people in the room with you..."
Which just goes to prove that some fools will watch any old shite on the box when they really should have better things to do.
