Although she's just turned 20-years-old, Taylor Swift seems much younger, as she still listens to her mother about her dating and with whom.
"Mom's always looking out for me and she knows that Taylor (Lautner) is only 17 so she's against us getting serious right now", Swift told Nashville Borderline, a fanzine that covers country cross-over artists.
"It may be too late NOT to be serious, but we are in no hurry. Taylor and I are really into our careers, careers that neither of us could have imagined just a few years ago. So we're taking it slow for now."
Taylor Swift has been writing songs since she was ten years old and became the first 14-year-old staff writer in the history of her record company. She thinks that she's written over one hundred songs by now. But things have certainly changed since those first ones.
"It seems only yesterday that I was out there looking for a tryout, doing the karaoke and the county fairs."

"Won't say, but I always write about whatever is going on in my life. And old Wolf Boy is the best part of it!"
