ORLANDO - One of Tiger Woods "Golf Girls" who only last week was working as an $8 an hour waitress at Patty Cakes Pancake Palace is now suddenly the owner of Patty Cakes Pancake Palace.
Lawton told a reporter for The Pensacola Gazette Searcher that she has been saving up her tips for four months and she finally got enough money to fulfil her life-long dream of owning her own restaurant.
The 33-year-old Mindy said that when she was a child most kids would play doctors or lawyers. She said that she would play restaurateurs.
She said that all the kids made fun of her and would call her nasty names like Tippy, Foody, and Condimentina.
Mindy said she told one that sticks and stones may break her bones, but words will never hurt her. She only said that once because that girl, Pammy Brazoria picked up some sticks and stones and threw them at her.
Lawton said that she is exactly in a place where she wants to be. She said that she wants to now put the trailer park, and the fairways, and the fancy hotel rooms all behind her.
In somewhat related news. Country singer Willie Nelson has just written a song titled, "Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Golfers."
