LONDON - Simon Cowell's 19th Hole Production Company owns the musical reality shows X-Factor, American Idol, Hungarian Hero, Lithuanian Luminary, and Venezuelan Ventriloquist.

Cowell has announced that his company will soon begin televising his latest musical reality show entitled Y-Factor.

The show will be based in New York City and it will feature singers over the age of 80.

When asked if he thought that his show would attract a large enough audience to keep the sponsors happy Simon smiled and said that the sponsors include Geritol, Metamucil, and The Uppity Group, manufacturers of The Blue Prince Viagra Tablets.

Cowell says that the basic concept will be that of X-Factor and American Idol. The show will of course be live, and it will be telecast from Brooklyn's Pee Wee Reese Theater which, conveniently, is located right next door to The Cloris Leachman Senior Citizens Hospital.

The T-Shirted wonder stated that Ryan Seacrest will be the host and the three judges will be Don Rickles, Joan Rivers, and Grandma Lee.

Cowell stated that the show will premier on New Year's Eve and the winner will be announced on Valentine's Day.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
