Well, the world of X-Factor came tumbling down at the weekend where the obsecene amounts of money being made by Simon Cowell and his cohort of judges is plainly going to their heads.
In an almost bizarre scene that could have been from Carry On Talent, the four judges voted off special guest Michael Buble as "lacking the X-Factor", failing to "sing in tune" and in the words of Louis Walsh, "not nailing it 100,000 per cent".
The four judges then proceeded to vote off the lighting technicians because the lighting didn't have the "X-Factor", the camera crew for "lacking the X-Factor" and the set builders for themselves "not nailing it".
They then voted off the audience as "lacking in any substance", felt by many to be grossy unfair, taking into account the amount of substance the average audience has to take in order to stay awake during the judging process.
The week's edition climaxed with the judges then voting each other off the programme.
