David Letterman's wife Regina, is suing the late night talk show host for a divorce, $500 million and custody of their son, Harry, according to a source who saw the court papers and revealed them to the Truth Tattler.
Also named in the suit are eight female employees of the Letterman Show, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and the Sunday Twins.
Letterman's sex scandal reported by himself on live TV has caused a sensation that is highly embarrassing to Regina, according to her attorney, Howard Lancaster.
"It will have far repercussions upon their son" the source reported. "He will be hearing his father's stupid jokes about himself (Letterman) all the rest of his life. He will also hear that his father IS a joke", stated the source.
Also rumored is the fact that at least a dozen women who were turned down for the show because of what they say are "obvious reasons"
"Well, these women didn't get hired after personal interviews", stated one of the attorneys representing one of the ladies, and perhaps all of them as they sue as a grope..group.
"It has become a real battle and is deeply affecting Dave no matter how he appears on TV", stated one employee of the show, above the crowd laughter over Letterman also confessing to stealing billions and setting up Bernie Madoff.
So Letterman is still laughing, although this time, it may be "all the way FROM the bank".
