No sooner has David Letterman revealed that he has been sleeping with the ladies on his late night TV show, today it was announced in the National Inquirer -in an exclusive! -that the lady he has always called "Mom" who usually comes around on his Thanksgiving or other special shows, is Letterman's real wife!
So who's the lady he married not so long ago?
Apparently, she is David Letterman's twenty-fourth wife as Letterman converted to radical Mormanism back in the late 1960's.
"We were all trying to find ourselves as young men and women back then,", says Letterman, "and I found this group where the male can marry as many women as he pleases...or even those he can't please."
"That was when I left the Hair Grasper Movement and the Hippies and joined the Whoopees, Latter Day."
Apparently Letterman has kept the secret from the public, even three of his wives, until that same rotten blackmailer got ahold of the information.
Letterman then cut off the interview with, "That's it! If that Jackass says anything else, it's just not true, I don't care how much proof he claims to have."
"MOM is my first wife. She was a member of our group at 50 and brought me in so that she could..well, that's all I have to say!"
