The sister of the late Sharon Tate, Debra Tate says that Roman Polanski is a pussycat.
"Especially when you compare him with say, Charles Manson."
Roman would never ever in a million years order people to be killed or look at you like Charles Manson does. Well, hardly ever."
In an exclusive interview with the Exclusivater, and later on The Today Show, the lady who is the sister of Sharon Tate (Mrs. Polanski) who was brutally murdered by Charles Manson followers in 1969, supports her ex-brother-in-law, film director and accused rapist Roman Polanski.
She then described Roman Polanski as brilliant and a "good guy" and doesn't think her former brother-in-law can get a fair trial in the United States for his rape case.
Tate told everyone on the Today Show Wednesday that she believes the U.S. justice system is broken.
The U.S. had been seeking his extradition for having sex with a 13-year-old girl in 1977.
Tate said Polanski did not forcibly have sex with the girl, calling it a "consensual matter" despite the fact that a 13 year old, whom he allegedly drugged, is far younger than the law allows.
"The nasty U.S. owes Roman an apology. The poor thing has been hiding out for 32 years in some old mansion or another."
"Oh, we have a very special apology awaiting Roman Polanski", stated one U.S. attorney. "It will be delivered to him personally by his old friend, Charles Manson, whom we hope to bring together for a family reunion soon."
