Drummer, Fanny Tickler was today reported to be 'over the moon' after being taken on by top girl band The Bonkettes, mainly due to her skills with the brushes.
Fanny, 22 from Sellyoak in the West Midlands was said to be "deloighted" by the appointment.
"I always wanted to play the skins in a hot girl band," she told me. "it's all roight innit?"
The all male, non-gay dance troupe, The Woodentops, who support the Bonkettes on tour were said to be delighted by Fanny's appointment.
"She'll do for me," perma-tanned lead dancer Peter Pubic told us.
"Me too," Bungalow Bob from Basingstoke added.
"This kids a star," veteran dancer Charlie Cock told us. "She really does flick a mean bean."
"I concur," Bobby Barlock, the quiet one said quietly.
"Too roight," added veteran dancer Stevie Scrotum of Droitwich.
