Quentin Tarantino has revealed his next film will pay homage to his most recent film Inglorious Basterds.
The Pulp Fiction director had toyed with the idea of a reworking of the film for some time, but has only now got round to the remake.
He will cast Brad Pitt in the role of Nazi hunter Aldo Raine, originally played by Brad Pitt, in the new film which will be called Inglorious Bestards.
And like his original film, the new version will centre on a bunch of Jewish renegades hunting down and scalping Nazis.
Tarantino yesterday insisted the 2009 film, based on the 2009 film with the similar name, will not be "a romantic comedy" - and will be suitable for all ages.
Though Tarantino has yet to sit down to write the script, the film classification board of America has already rated it R.
