All eyes will be on the very prestigious 2010 Cannes Festival where is set to premiere Pitof's first movie in years "I'm her!
She's me!" starring Kate Winslet, Tara Reid, Javier Bardem and Rob Schneider.
The movie talks about Aly Dickson (Reid), a girl with magical powers, who falls in love with two boys Steve (Schneider) and Michael (Bardem). When she wants to meet Michael, a well-known businessman, she becomes a classy woman thanks to her powers (this role is played by Academy Award winner Kate Winslet), and when she wants to meet Steve, she goes back to normal. Pitof and Steven Spielberg worked hard on the visual effects used when the magic scenes happen.
Pitof was quoted saying: "I am very glad that my new piece of art is set to premiere in my country, France."
As for Spielberg, he said: "It's a pleasure for me to work with a great guy like Pitof! He's a school. It's a big honour for me to work with him."
Reid and Schneider both agreed that this movie will be the beginning of their serious acting career and they feel that a Golden Globe Award will be the least reward they will receive after all the hard work they did.
On the other hand, Winslet and Bardem stated that there will be no other competition for them in next year's Oscars.
