Carla Bruni, former model, actress and ... singer, now wife of French president Nicolas Sarkozy, therefore First Lady of France, is to star in the next Woody Allen movie.
She is to play a heavily-pregnant Virgin Mary.
Woody has not completed the script yet, but we have learned that the Holy Virgin was not supposed to have been pregnant in the movie, but Ms Bruni let him know that she was pregnant with triplets - two girls and a boy.
Jesus will therefore have two sisters.
"But no one need be offended, because the obstetrician present at the birth will ensure that the boy baby will be born first," someone close to Ms Bruni said.
Shooting of the movie will commence in March 2010 to fall in with the scheduled cesarean birth of the babies on April 1, April Fool's Day.
