Today, Adam Lambert whom everyone thought should have won American Idol not too long ago, announced that he is going to join the Willie Nelson Family Tour.
"We're glad to have Adam", Willie told The Nashville Music City Gazette. The company needed a "Brokeback Touch" so that we can include everyone for all musical tastes."
Also featured on the tour according to Willie is "Whoever shows up in whatever town we're playing in. That's what make's it so special."
Adam will join everyone for a big opening number of "On The Road Again" in which he will sing it as, "Being Rode Again" where he comes in for a full two minutes.
"I love it", said Lambert. "Willie just turns everyone loose and let's them express themselves. The man is amazing as he's written nearly 2,000 song for himself and everyone from Elvis to Patsy Cline."
"Being rode again, I just can't wait to being rode again...making music with my friends..and I can't wait to get rode again", sang Lambert.
Then there's "My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys", that's where I stop and do some quotes from the movie "Brokeback Mountain" and then he lets me do, "Georgie On My Mind", "Pancho And Liberace" is a show stopper.
"Then we all sing some good old favorites and I get to finish the first half with "You Were Always On My Ass".
