Rumors on the streets of Hollywood is that Meagan Fox will play Catwoman in the next Batman movie to be out next year.
Although it cannot be confirmed, there is simply too much noise going around for it to be just a rumor. Both Warner Brothers and a representative for Fox must actually be hashing this out.
Megan Fox for the sexy role plus that tight-fitting costume would certainly attract a lot of moviegoers but as of Thursday morning Fox has neither confirmed nor rejected the rumors.
Most think it may depend on what kind of cash it will pull in, which is only business, right?
Meagan's representative has been consulted and, according to a source, has stated that Megan is a huge fan of the Batman movies and of director Christopher Nolan. "But the actual discussions on filming time, where, when, etc. have not taken place."
So the casting may be premature, but we don't think it's entirely out of the question.
Personally we think everyone would be a winner here.
However, we do not have the scheduling for next year so something else may be on the horizon.
On the one hand, Fox condemned the recent "Transformer" film as non-acting.
On other other, she loved the last Batman and would have to agree that THAT was acting.
So it's not necessarily true that adventure films and good acting are two separate things.
But of all the Hollywood casting rumors, this one doesn't seem like a flat-out no. At least not on Megan's end, anyways.
Don't consider it a sure thing either. Remember, Rachel Weisz was being considered to be the Catwoman. Maybe Warner Brothers can clear all of this up soon.
