Melanie Griffith, star of Working girl and wife of Antonio Banderas, is back in rehab for the third time in the past eleven years. The daughter of actress Tippi Hedron and ex-wife of Don Johnson, however, treated the latest stay as if it were an appearance in another movie.
"I've always liked trilogies the best, three tries is the best way to tell a story because you can really expand and flesh out the characters."
The part she will playing for the next few months is that of a woman not unlike herself, who has addictions to drugs and alcohol and wants to overcome them to return to her family.
This role is being directed by Doctor Ivan Boranski, who also got good performances recently out of Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. They were thankful for the time that he spent with them, coaxing out their best work and effort.
"I see this as being released some time in the Fall, but doubt that a wrap party will be held for obvious reasons."
