Following Joanna Lumley's recent attempts at Politics, with the Gurkha's, it can be revealed that Dame Diana Rigg has taken on a project of her own.
The actress, known for her roles as Emma Peel, in Extras, and a Stage career that has lasted for decades has taken on the case of Jaffa Cakes. The warmly remembered 60's Heart throb said:
'It seemed the right time to get my face out there again, and I am happy that I am on the case of Jaffa Cakes to be legally recognised as biscuits, rather than as Cakes, and to have them re-classified as such. If Pringles can be termed as Cakes rather than Crisps, as looked as being the case, than Jaffa Cakes, after the good work they have done in this country, need to be seen as biscuits'.
In other news, Cleggy from Last of the Summer Wine is said to be taking on his local Post Office over where they keep their envelopes.
