The BBC films division has announced that it will commence shooting of a feature length version of their hit comedy "Last of the Summer Wine".

The film, which will be set in Yorkshire and feature all of the favourite characters from the show, however the BBC has managed to attract some of the biggest Hollywood names into the film.

Already confirmed in the movie are Robert De Niro (who will play Foggy Dewhurst), Jack Nicholson (Norman Clegg) and Al Pacino will take on the role of Compo Simmonite.

Helen Mirren has agreed to play the role of Nora Batty.

The plot has been kept secret however an un-named source said that Al Pacino's agent has been enquiring into whether the actor's insurance would cover him travelling down a mountain in a bathtub.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
