image for Vicious dog attacks 'Cats' musical theatre stars

Tragedy struck the magical world of Musicals today as 2 acclaimed actors were savagely mauled by a dog.

The 2 stars both currently appearing in the West End production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical "Cats", were attacked on leaving the theatre.

An eye witness describing the event said "It was horrible. The actors were still in full costume and the dog clearly thought that they were real, giant cats. He bit Magical Mr. Mistoffelees to begin with, but then turned on Macavity when he tried to step in. It just escalated from there."

It is believed that the attack was only interrupted when Rum Tum Tugger, leaving the theatre also in costume, was able to distract the dog and was last seen sprinting through Soho being chased by the dog.

Both Macavity and Mr. Mistoffelees are described as stable but also each will now have a distressing memory.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
