A performer appearing on the latest edition of "UK's Got Talent" has caused a minor controversy by claiming to be the great grandson of former English Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin. In fact the performer's act WASclaiming to be the great grandson of Stanley Baldwin.
Neville Doofus of Putney entered the popular TV programme on a dare from his drinking buddies who felt he needed a little upbraiding because he was such a spineless drongo. When Neville tried to convince his mates of the veracity of his claim he was shouted down and then ventured the promise that he would go on national TV to proclaim his argument. Of course his associates didn't stand in his way.
Upon entering the centre stage to confront Simon Cowell and co, he proudly announced his name and then launched into a seven minute monologue about his connection to Mr Baldwin.
Messrs Cowell and others were astonished by his foolhardiness if nothing else and quickly told him to f..k off back to Putney.
Mr Doofus is now working as a window cleaner for small change and doing Stanley Baldwin impersonations at his local Boy Scout hall.
