The BBC have announced that they will be launching a TV channel dedicated to programmes such as 'My Family', 'The Vicar of Dibley', 'No 1 Ladies Detective Agency' and 'All the Small Things'.
The channel, to be named 'BBC Twee', will contain all of the BBC's middle of the road programming, and is expected to receive high viewing figures, particularly in the Home Counties. The head of BBC programming commented "We have literally hundreds of hours of content suitable for BBC Twee, and it will clear the main channels for some quality up market broadcasting like Eastenders and Casualty."
BBC Twee will be launched next month by Noel Edmonds, Sarah Lancashire and several other stars contracted to produce mind numbing entertainment for the masses.
