FBI detectives are still trying to build a case against an Internet hacker who allegedly tapped into Miley Cyrus' emails and sent out some special pics and apparently invited a lot of guys over at their place in Tennessee any time they liked, then published her private comments while adding his/her own.
The Hannah Montana star and her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus were extremely upset last year when someone broke into her personal online accounts and leaked a string of saucy pictures of the star onto the web, some with superimposed tidbits.
Josh Holly, 19, was named as a prime suspect in the police investigation after detectives raided his Tennessee home in October and seized his computer equipment but could find nothing.
The teen was never arrested or charged in connection with the incident.
However, FBI officials are adamant that they have not dropped the case - and are still working on gathering evidence.
"If it's this kid or another like him, he knows what he's doing and he knows how to get rid of the evidence in a hurry." stated FBI spokesman Special Agent Scott Augenbaum. "We're still working on it but cyber crimes are extremely hard to prove."
Meanwhile, Billy Ray Cyrus apparently told friends he wanted a private talk with "Mr. Hacker Holly".
