London - (Spooky Mess): Did the BBC's gripping espionage series 'Spooks' inadvertantly out US First Lady Michelle Obama as a Russian spy?

That is the latest intelligence poser baffling the US Joint Chiefs of Stuff after they viewed the UK spy drama's December 9 episode.

It features MI5 counter-terrorism chief 'Harry Pearce' naming a high ranking female colleague 'Connie James' as the treacherous double agent in Operation Renaissance.

'Renaissance' was revealed this week as Michelle Obama's Secret Service code name in a serendipitous twist that had UK spy chiefs cock-a-hoop at the sheer irony of US intelligence euphemisms.

Barack Obama meanwhile was given the CIA code name of 'Renegade' - meaning 'a fallen Christian or a knight without allegiance' as well as the name of a crap model of the Jeep CJ series of motor cars.

The UK's MI6 Security Intelligence agency calls Vice President Joe Biden 'Tufty'.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
