Like Sinatra on Lewds

Soon to be released for the Christmas season, two velvet voiced crooners team up to cover some the best heavy metal and progressive rock band hits from the 80's. Widely popular for bringing back music from the Sinatra-influenced swing era, both Buble' and Connick Jr. are excited about their new partnership and to be able to put a smooth voiced version of these classics on the market.

"It's not really a Christmas album after all, but we wanted to get it out to our fans for the Christmas season." Connick Jr. said. "One of the genres that we haven't covered yet, are those great melodies and lyrics from the 1980's."

Reporters asked Buble' about the song list from the album. "We plan to cover the pop hits for sure, including Good Girls Don't by the Knack, and I Touch Myself by the Divinyls, but we also want to rock it out with titles like Love in an Elevator by Aerosmith and White Wedding by Billy Idol." Buble' said. "You know, all the true love songs from the era."

Both artists couldn't agree on the entire play list tossing out classics like Love Shack by the B52's and Love Bites by Def Leppard. "We did agree to a couple more classic love songs however", Connick Jr. said. "We will wrap up the album with live recorded versions of Tainted Love by Soft Cell and Talk Dirty to Me by Poison". The CD will be on store shelves in December.
