Lazy-arsed old cloth cat Bagpuss has joined Facebook.
Listed amongst his friends are Professor Yaffle, Madeline the Rag Doll, a number of Mice, Mr Benn, Scooby Doo and Shaggy, and Emily. H
is hobbies are variously described as collecting dust, the music of Bachman Turner Overdrive, Bach, and Shakin' Stevens, as well as being entertained by the memories of the late Banjo playing Frog, Gabrielle.
Speaking to us earlier, the cat, who was marginally famous in the 1970's, and is a fond memory for many of us said: 'I am still waiting for the call to go into the Big House, or to an Island, but until that long awaited day arrives, I am more than happy to be doing this. It helps to keep me in the loop of what is happening out there'
