Studio executives in America have green-lit a live action film of the hit cartoon series Family Guy.
Casting has begun, with Roseanne's John Goodman cast as the blundering Peter Griffin, whilst his wife, Lois will be played by the X Files's Gillian Anderson. Her X files co-star David Duchovny will play neighbour Quagmire, Danny Glover is not too old for this shit, and will play Cleveland, Jan Claude Van Damme will play disabled Police Officer Jo, whilst gangster film favourite Joe Pesci will play the series bartender.
Casting for the children is still going on, but it is thought that cartoon favourite Snoopy will play the part of the wisecracking Dog Brian. A studio executive told us: 'This will be great, Family Guy is a hit animated series, and it should make an excellent Live-action film, I mean just look at what they did with the Flintstones, I mean that was a triumph for the film making world, if nothing else was, right? Am I right, or am I right?'
There is no news on who will play destructive baby Stewie, or unattractive daughter Meg, but we will keep you up-dated on developments as they happen.
