Intelligent viewers across the United Kingdom are looking forward to the start of series eighteen of Big Paint Drier, which starts next week.
The smash hit reality show will run for 12 weeks, and will feature a wall which is painted every day, and then takes a few hours to dry, live on TV. Each day a phone-in vote is held, and viewers can vote out their least favourite colour.
In the final week, there will only 3 colours left, and the winning colour is the one with the highest number of votes.
BPD fan Brian Damage said: 'Every series is better than the last one - remember when it was so close between cornflower blue and magnolia? Wow, unmissable stuff!' And Anthea Airbag said 'It was series 7 I loved, neck and neck between red, green and white to the final day.'
Viewers will be gripped for weeks by the unfolding real-life drama, as all the different ways and speeds that paint dries will be put to endless tabloid analysis. But one suggestion that this was dumbed-down TV was denied by Channel 4 watchdog group, Fourbore. 'We deny it', said a spokespainter, Bernard Du Lux.
