New movie, High School Musical 3, will be coming out around October 24. Turns out, Monique Coleman will be dropping out!
She says, "I just really think that I'm too old. I mean I am 26, about to be 27. Disney's characters need to be a certain age. I just don't fit that age genre." Zac, Vanessa, Ashley, Lucas, and Corbin have been trying to convince her to stay, but she just feels that she should drop out.
She may be replaced by Cheetah Girls stars either Kiely Williams or Raven Symone`.
Even the Disney Channel thinks she's making a pretty drastic move because everyone knows her so well and they couldn't even think of the fans not knowing who East High's Taylor McKessie is.
Even though she signed a contract, they have just decided to rip it up and pretend it never even happened. Monique still might be guest starring on a couple of shows, but they're still not sure.
