Heather Mills is back in the news again after revealing her latest plans to buy herself the world's most expensive prosthetic leg.
It is rumoured that Heather Mills, former wife of ex-Beatle Paul McCartney has commissioned London jewellers Goldsmiths to produce an 18ct solid gold leg which will be adorned with a series of precious stones. The pricey prosthetic will also feature state of the art gadgetry including built-in GPRS, hi-fi sound system, blu-ray, and hydraulic suspension.
At a press conference earlier today, the celebrity divorcee said that she was "delighted at the progress undertaken so far", and that she will be unveiling her bling-ed out bunions at a charity event to help children who have lost limbs in the past.
There is no final figure on the actual value of the leg itself, but a spokesman for Goldsmiths has stated that "It would cost Heather an arm and a leg."
Nice to see that jewellers have a sense of humour....
