69 year old Dawn Wells, beloved girl-next-door starlet of "Gilligan's Island", is serving 6 months unsupervised probation after being busted for possession of pot.
According to Teton County Sheriff's Deputy, Joseph Gutierrez, Wells' car was observed swerving at 15 mph in a 60 mph zone and he noted large amounts of smoke billowing from an open window. After pulling up alongside Wells, and motioning for her to pull over, Gutierrez states she flipped an unknown cigarette type object out her window at him before stopping her car in the middle of the road.
Wells was handcuffed while Gutierrez and his partner, Deputy Doobie Gillis, searched her car.
Drug paraphernelia, rolling papers, a bag of crazy weed, a brick of Colombia Red, five jive sticks, and a lump of Mexican brown were retrieved from the front seat of Wells' car.
Well's became combative, according to Deputy Gutierrez's report, and began screaming, "Don't take away my laughing grass!"
Wells was transported to Teton County Jail where she was booked and released on $5,000 bail.
Her attorney, Ron Swafford, spoke briefly with reporters. "Miss Wells is voluntarily committing herself to a rehab facility."
Wells, herself, gave her best 'Mary Ann' smile as she walked out of the jail and flipped off bystanders.
