THE INTERNETS - Plugging their new movie ("The Darjeeling Limited") filmmaker and auteur, Wes Anderson, recently interviewed his friend, Owen Wilson, for MySpace.com.
When asked about his recent apparent suicide attempt, Wilson answered point-blank: "I didn't try to kill myself, someone else tried to kill me! It was that other guy named Owen Wilson. Go ahead and look him up on MySpace! He's from Slough -- just outside London.
"Little prick came at me with his guitar like I just ran over his favorite sweater or something. I was lucky he didn't get a clean hit on me, otherwise I would not be here talking with you today."
Wilson alleges that his attacker was acting on a dare from his buddy, Ross Wilson, who stood outside playing the guitar naked while the crime apparently took place. Santa Monica police have not confirmed whether or not they are looking for suspects matching Wilson's description.
