Eddie Murphy and Halle Berry going on The Maury Povich Show?

Hollywood, California - Ending weeks of rumors, Halle Berry confirmed just today to several news media outlets that she is, in fact, pregnant. Eddie Murphy has issued his standard press release denying that he is the father. Meanwhile, Maury Povich has stepped in and offered his services by inviting the two to his show to determine if Murphy is really the father, reportedly Murphy is refusing to submit a DNA sample while live on the show and insists on sending his personal assistant instead.

"Mr. Murphy will do no such thing," said a spokesperson for Murphy. "He knows without a doubt in his mind that he is not the father to Halle Berry's baby. However, having said that, he asks if any members of the media has her phone number to please give it to him."

Murphy's spokesperson then went on to accuse The Maury Povich Show of taking advantage of Halle Berry's joyful occasion for self-promotion purposes. Also, he asked The Polvish Show to stop sending him all those unsolicited DNA sample test results from every female guest on his show that is looking for their kid's daddy.

Besides, Murphy's spokesperson remind the media, making an appearance on the Maury Povich Show is unnecessary as Murphy already provides a DNA sample with all of his media kits for such an occasion these that a single attractive female starlet announces she is pregnant, which is quite frequent these days, as you know.

Although Halle Berry could not be reached for comment, she has consistently denied in the past that if ever she did get pregnant, Eddie Murphy would definitely not be the father of her child. However, she refused to either confirm or deny through her publicist her planned scheduled appearance on The Murray Polvish Show next week.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
