Hollywood Bans Use of Gosh, Crikey, Golly, Um, Er, - Hugh Grants Career scuppered

Funny story written by Ben Macnair

Sunday, 5 August 2007

In a shock move, the kings of Hollywood have banned certain words. These words include such favourites as Er, Um, Yeah, Gosh, and Crikey. Certain curse words such as F***, B*****, S***, have been added.

Hollywood Writer Mable Syrup said: "This ban makes no sense to me. We often use words such as UM, and ER to add comedic effect, or just as a cover up when our over paid stars make a mess of their lines. God knows, they are paid more than enough not to F*** it up, S*******s!"

At the time of writing, acting favourite Hugh Grant was asked for his thoughts, but all of his words have been banned from Hollywood.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
