When groom Peter Green-Smythe-Walsingham the fourth said to his his wife Tracy Jones this was the best day of his life, he just knew he was not wrong.

In normal soap parlance, that would mean he was about to crushed by an anvil that was pushed onto him by a wronged ex-wife, or lover, or a lover's lover, but as the groom is only a new character, and his wife is a long serving extra (she was behind Ian 'little git' Beale once) the script writers felt that the disasterous wedding story line was a cliché to far.

In future episodes Mr Green-Smythe-Walsingham the Fourth will be swallowed, Jonah like, by a hungry whale, whilst the new Mrs Green-Smythe-Walsingham the Fourth has a massive story line coming up, when she sits opposite Dot Cotton in the Vic.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
