Iowa City, Iowa (Press-Citizen Staff Writer) - TheSpoof.com regular contributor, Jalapenoman, will teach his seminar "$100 Advice and Guidance For New Spoof Writers" at the University of Iowa's 'Program in Creative Writing' (better known as the 'Iowa Writers' Workshop').

This graduate-level creative writing program is very prestigious, claiming more than two dozen Pulitzer Prize winners -- the highest US honor for 'print journalism' (a category that also includes online news pages).

Graduates of the program shall earn a Master of Fine Arts in English. (Note: Iowa was the first US university to offer this degree when the program was founded in 1935 by Wilbur Schramm & Norman Foerster.)

Terms of payment have yet to be made final, but it is rumored that current TheSpoof.com contributors will get a 10% discount off room and board.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
