Holly Willoughby has admitted to needing urgent medical plumbing on her eyes, to stop a persistent leak that has been getting worse over the last few episodes of the revamped hit TV show 'Surprise, Surprise'.
The seals around Holly's eyes have become worn and are now leaking regularly. The mere mention of a long-lost brother or adopted child results in floods of water breaching the gaskets and streaming down her cheeks.
Show insiders say the situation is becoming dangerous, with floor-staff being handed compulsory mops to carry with them at all times.
One source told us in confidence 'Our sound manager came a right cropper the other day. Some kid was going on about having some incurable disease and wanting to meet The Maccabees, and Holly's eyes started belching water all over the floor. Next thing the sound guy was arse over head and broke his coccyx!'
Holly is expected to visit the Harley Street plumber next week. The exact details are being kept a closely guarded secret, but sources say it will be the same plumber who undertook major work on Cheryl Tweedy-Cole and Amanda Holden, during their various stints on Simon Cowell productions.
