THE REIGN IN, SPAIN -- In the wake of her recent Instagram announcement of her engagement to disk jockey Vanessa Cortes, former Miss Spain, Patricia ("Patty-Cakes") Yurena ("The Urinal") Rodriquez ("Rocky"), has created quite a furor among like-minded (that is, lesbian) celebrities.
Rosie ("The Posy") O'Donnell welcomed Rodriguez into "the community," describing the former beauty queen as "a credit to her sexual orientation."
Ellen Degenerate said, "Women like her are the reason I'm gay!" She added, "No offense to Rosie."
The Spanish beauty also posted a photo of herself and her fiancee in bed together. Rodriquez, 24, is gazing into Cortez's eyes. The caption, "Romeo and Juliet," is confusing to many, it seems, since Romeo is male, not female, and both Rodriguez and Cortez, who are lesbians, are female, and neither, to date, has indicated a desire to undergo sex-reassignment surgery.
Although Rodriguez won the title of Miss Spain in 2008 and represented her country as its Miss Universe contender in 2013, she lost to Venezuela's Maria Gabriela, whom pageant judges describe as a "real woman."
